Montréal, January 1, 2020 – Canva Group has acquired Positive Graphic based in Laval, Quebec through its subsidiary Mirazed Inc. This acquisition adds a plant specialized in printing large-format promotional material and lithography to its range of services.
“From now on, Positive Graphic will be known as Mirazed and receive the support and full strength of Canva Group. We predict a bright future for this plant, which will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in June,” said René-Pierre Roussel, co-owner of the group.
The company, founded by Gilles Ouimet in 1980, has a strong reputation in the display industry and serves many prestigious clients in Quebec. Over the years, the company incorporated lithographic and digital printing services to its silkscreening services to better serve its commercial clients.
“Services offered by Positive Graphic highly complement our three existing business units,” explained Hugo Leclair, co-owner of Canva Group. “The team’s expertise in displays will let us better serve our 5,000 clients and increase our market share in this industry. Adding the production capacity offered to us by this new, well-equipped plant was an easy strategic decision to make.”
