Canva Group announces the acquisition of Canacadre Inc., a media display company in Boucherville, Quebec.
Canacadre (www.canaframe.com) specializes in designing and manufacturing signage systems and metal frames for restaurants, movie theatres, retail stores and signage in institutions, industries and transit vehicles. Media companies and manufacturers prefer Canacadre’s products also known as Canaframe, for their ease of use and durability.
According to René-Pierre Roussel, CEO of Canva Group (www.groupecanva.com) “It is clear that the addition of this category will greatly complement our signage product lines and will increase the overall offering for our customers. Canacadre will join the ranks of our Idenco business unit next door in Boucherville and contribute to improving the synergy between the two companies.” With its national presence, Canva Group will also be able to offer Canacadre customers a complete line of identification and visual communication products.
Mr. Nicolas Pénisson, the outgoing owner, is happy to see the company he has developed over 25 years pass into the hands of a group in full expansion. “To continue to grow, it was necessary to join forces with a company with access to major commercial and industrial clients. This is precisely the strength of the Canva Group.”
